Splatoon 3 is not going quiet just because Splatoon Raiders is grabbing attention. 0, giving the ink shooter another maintenance and balance pass. Updates like this matter because Splatoon is built around competitive feel: weapon behavior, map rhythm, special balance and tiny adjustments that can change how players approach matches.
The timing is useful too. Nintendo is using the Splatoon brand heavily this summer, with Splatoon Raiders launching July 23 and its own dedicated Direct coming June 30. Keeping Splatoon 3 polished and active helps maintain the existing community while Nintendo prepares the single-player spin-off.
