Star Wars Zero Company reportedly launches August 27

Star Wars Zero Company may have its release date before Summer Game Fest even gets to show its gameplay. A new report says the XCOM-like tactics game will launch on August 27, 2026 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.

The same report points to different pricing between PC and consoles, with standard and deluxe editions planned but no early access. That is an interesting setup because Star Wars tactics has room to become something more than another lightsaber power fantasy.

A squad-based strategy game can explore the galaxy’s uglier tactical corners: hard choices, expendable missions, battlefield pressure and characters who are not guaranteed to walk away. The official gameplay showing is expected at Summer Game Fest, so this leak arrives at the perfect time to raise expectations. If Zero Company feels like Star Wars with real tactical teeth, August could become much busier.
