SteamBoat Incident brings retro horror to Switch on June 5

SteamBoat Incident is coming to Nintendo Switch on June 5, and the title alone already sounds like a health-and-safety report written after everyone disappeared. Ratalaika Games and Mascot Bro Studio are bringing the survival horror game to the eShop for $9.99, giving Switch owners another compact scare to slot between bigger releases.
The appeal here is straightforward: old-school horror atmosphere, limited space, suspicious machinery and the natural dread of being trapped somewhere that floats. Boats are useful horror settings because escape is never simple.
You cannot just leave the haunted building when the haunted building is surrounded by water. If SteamBoat Incident uses that confinement well, it could be a nice smaller horror pickup for players who like tension, puzzles and the feeling that every corridor smells like rust and regret.
