Street Fighter 6 clears seven million sales worldwide

Street Fighter 6 has now passed seven million sales worldwide, giving Capcom yet another reason to walk around like it knows exactly what it is doing. The game has added around 300,000 units since March 31, and the timing is useful because Capcom has just announced the Year 4 character pass with Yasmine, Arjun, Tifa and Bosch.

Seven million is not just a number. It proves that Street Fighter 6 has legs beyond launch hype, with competitive play, DLC, Switch 2 support and strong word of mouth keeping it alive.

Modern fighting games are not judged by launch week alone anymore. They are platforms. Capcom’s big win is that Street Fighter 6 still feels active, readable and commercially healthy after years in the ring.
