Summer Game Fest 2026 teased as biggest live show yet

Summer Game Fest 2026 is almost here, and Geoff Keighley is already turning the hype dial hard enough to need oven gloves. Keighley has teased the June 5 showcase as the biggest Summer Game Fest live show yet, which means expectations are about to become dangerously inflated across the internet.

The timing is perfect: Sony’s State of Play lands first, Xbox has its own showcase coming June 7, and the whole first week of June is shaping up like the old E3 calendar decided to reincarnate as a group chat. The obvious question is what exactly makes this year the biggest.

More world premieres? Bigger third-party reveals? Longer runtime? Louder stage lighting? We will find out soon enough. For now, June 5 is the date everyone should circle if they enjoy trailers, surprises and completely unreasonable speculation.
