Summer Game Fest reactions put Switch 2 third-party support in the spotlight

Nintendo Everything’s Summer Game Fest reaction discussion makes one thing clear: Switch 2 had a very good showcase week even without a Nintendo Direct. Over just a few days, major third-party projects were confirmed for the platform, including Final Fantasy VII Revelation, Resident Evil Veronica, Alien Isolation 2, Monster Hunter Wilds, Hot Wheels: Infinite Rush, Attack on Titan 3, The Wolf Among Us Remastered and Trine 6.

That is a big spread across horror, RPGs, action, family racing and puzzle platforming. It does not replace Nintendo’s own first-party roadmap, but it does show publishers are treating Switch 2 seriously.

That matters for the platform’s first year. Nintendo hardware lives or dies by Nintendo magic, but a healthy third-party shelf keeps players engaged between the big internal releases.
