Mina, Poppy Playtime and LumenTale debut on Switch eShop chart

Nintendo’s Switch eShop chart for May 30 is out, and Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream is still sitting at number one like it owns the place. The real story is the new arrivals.

Mina the Hollower debuts at number three, Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5 lands at number four, and LumenTale: Memories of Trey appears twice, with its Deluxe Edition at number six and the standard version at number fifteen. That is a strong showing for indie and mid-sized releases on a chart that usually gets bullied by Nintendo’s evergreen giants.

Mina’s high debut is especially notable because Yacht Club Games is proving it can step beyond Shovel Knight and still command attention. The Switch eShop remains crowded, messy and dangerous to wallets, but charts like this show there is still room for distinctive games to break through.
