Tales of Eternia Remastered announced for October 16

By GFA Staff · June 10, 2026

Tales of Eternia Remastered is coming October 16, and Bandai Namco is bringing one of the older Tales adventures back into the modern RPG rotation. The game follows a band of heroes across towns, fields and dungeons in a race to prevent disaster between two intertwined worlds.

That kind of classic JRPG setup may sound familiar, but Tales games live on cast chemistry, real-time battles and the comfort of traveling with a party that slowly becomes family. A remaster makes sense because Eternia is not as accessible as newer entries, yet it holds an important place in the series’ history.

The key is modernization. Players want cleaner visuals, quality-of-life updates and smoother access without losing the original’s charm. For Tales fans, October just became more nostalgic.
