Tekken 8 adds Baki’s Yujiro Hanma as Season Pass 4 crossover fighter

Tekken 8 is getting another crossover fighter, and this one is not exactly here for a friendly sparring session. Bandai Namco has announced that Yujiro Hanma from Baki the Grappler will join the roster as part of the game’s future character pass.

Yujiro is basically the walking answer to the question: what if a fighting-game final boss had a worse parenting style than Heihachi? That makes him a surprisingly natural fit for Tekken, a series built on generational trauma, impossible muscles and family disputes solved with electricity and roundhouse kicks.

The teaser uses manga artwork rather than full in-game footage, so players still need to see how Bandai Namco translates his brutal, exaggerated fighting style into Tekken 8’s systems. Kunimitsu starts the Season 3 schedule on May 27, with Roger Jr. and Bob also planned before Yujiro arrives in early 2027. For fighting-game fans, this is a big crossover swing.
