Tetris The Grand Master 4 lands on Switch today

By GFA Staff · June 4, 2026

Tetris The Grand Master 4: Absolute Eye launches today on Nintendo Switch, giving serious block-droppers a new way to test whether their reflexes are still legally human. The Grand Master series has always been the intimidating side of Tetris: fast, technical, demanding and completely uninterested in your casual comfort.

This Switch release matters because portable Tetris is one of gaming’s most natural pairings, but Grand Master is not simply cozy puzzle time. It is Tetris as mountain climbing.

The game’s multiple modes and adjusted difficulty should give different types of players a way in, but the heart remains high-skill play. For Nintendo’s platform, this is a strong addition because it covers a very specific audience: players who do not just want to clear lines, but to master pressure, speed and rhythm until the screen looks impossible to everyone else.
