Thief: The Dark Project Remastered announced for winter

Thief: The Dark Project Remastered has been announced for PS5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, PS4, Switch and PC, with a winter release window.

” It helped define stealth as a design philosophy: light, sound, vulnerability, improvisation and the idea that avoiding a fight could be more interesting than winning one. Nightdive Studios and Eidos Montreal are modernizing the classic with the KEX Engine, updated visuals, quality-of-life improvements, UI changes, a weapon and item wheel, mission selector and PC support for custom campaigns.

The remaster includes Thief: The Dark Project and content from Thief Gold. If handled carefully, this could introduce Garrett’s shadowy work to players who know immersive sims by reputation but never played one of the genre’s most important ancestors.
