Tide of Lone Stars Opens Its August Playtest

By GFA Staff · August 15, 2026

Tide of Lone Stars begins a scheduled Steam playtest today. The narrative adventure follows Blanka, a disabled girl living outside the walls of a troubled society, whose encounter with the mysterious Adrian begins a science-fiction story built around love, rebirth and death.

Developer Sono describes the project as combining conventional adventure-game interaction with an unconventional apocalyptic narrative. The August 15 test provides an opportunity to experience the project before its eventual commercial launch and, more importantly for the developer, gather feedback while development continues.

The game supports English as well as Simplified and Traditional Chinese in its planned full release, although availability and language support in individual test phases can differ. Join the playtest on Steam and keep up with indie betas on [GameForceAsia](/news).
