Tides of Annihilation shows technical behind-the-scenes video

By GFA Staff · May 28, 2026

Tides of Annihilation has released a technical behind-the-scenes video, giving players another look at how Eclipse Glow Games is building its fantasy action adventure. The update focuses on performance, optimization and technical collaboration, which is not as instantly flashy as a boss fight trailer but may be just as important.

Big stylish action games can look spectacular in vertical slices, then fall apart when players actually get their hands on the camera, combat and frame pacing. The studio has discussed support from Epic Games, Nvidia and Tencent around optimization, which suggests it understands the pressure. There is also a hands-on event planned for summer, and that will matter more than any trailer.

Tides of Annihilation needs to prove that its Arthurian fantasy chaos, twin-knight mechanics and cinematic combat feel good under actual player thumbs. Pretty is nice. Responsive is better.
