To a T bends its way onto Switch 2 today

To a T launches on Nintendo Switch 2 today, and it is still one of the most wonderfully strange games in the current release pile. The game follows a teenager permanently stuck in a T-pose, trying to live a normal life in a small coastal town with the support of family, friends and a loyal dog.

That premise could easily become a one-note joke, but Keita Takahashi’s involvement gives it more emotional credibility. His best work has always found humanity inside absurdity, whether that means rolling up the world or turning awkwardness into play.

Switch 2 is a strong home for something this odd because Nintendo audiences are usually more willing to accept games that lead with charm instead of genre checklist marketing. To a T may not be for everyone, but at least it knows exactly what shape it is.
