Tomodachi Life clears the Switch eShop again

Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream is still holding the top spot on the Nintendo Switch eShop, because apparently Nintendo’s social-life chaos has more staying power than many full-blown blockbusters. The June 6 chart keeps it at number one, ahead of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Minecraft.

Bluey’s Quest for the Gold Pen enters the all-games top ten at number nine, while Mina the Hollower drops out of the top ten after its strong debut. That chart tells a familiar Nintendo story: evergreen heavyweights, family games, cozy oddities and strong first-party momentum all mixed together in one digital storefront. It is also a reminder that eShop charts can look very different from hardcore gaming conversation.

The internet may be yelling about Summer Game Fest, but plenty of Switch players are still living tiny bizarre lives.
