Trails from Zero and Trails to Azure reach Switch 2 in September

The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero and Trails to Azure are coming to Nintendo Switch 2 on September 10, giving Crossbell another chance to pull RPG fans into its political mess. Both games already appeared on the original Switch, but the Switch 2 versions promise higher frame rate and resolution, with Trails from Zero also supporting mouse controls. That may sound technical, but for long, text-heavy RPGs, comfort matters a lot.

Crossbell is one of the most beloved arcs in the wider Trails universe because it combines police procedural energy, city-state politics, character bonds and a sense of slowly tightening pressure. Bringing both games forward to Switch 2 makes sense at a time when Nintendo’s new platform is quickly becoming an RPG magnet. The backlog groans.
