Trine 6: Together in Time brings five heroes and time-slow puzzles

Trine 6: Together in Time has been announced, and Frozenbyte is bringing the co-op puzzle-platforming series back with five playable heroes and a new Time-Slow mechanic. That is exactly the kind of sequel hook Trine needs: familiar fantasy teamwork, but with enough new puzzle logic to avoid feeling like another physics box with prettier lighting.

Co-op remains fully supported, but the team is also updating puzzle design for solo players, which is important because Trine has always lived between couch chaos and quiet problem-solving. The September 2026 release across PS5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, Switch and PC gives it a broad platform spread.

If the new heroes feel distinct and the time mechanic does real work, Together in Time could be a very comfortable return for fans.
