Turnip Mountain climbs onto Switch on July 30

Turnip Mountain is launching on Nintendo Switch on July 30, and yes, it is a physics-based climbing adventure about a turnip. That sentence alone does half the marketing work. Players independently control each hand, using momentum to grip walls, swing from ropes, launch across gaps and figure out their own route toward the summit.

The setup sounds like Getting Over It filtered through vegetable absurdity and local co-op chaos, especially because two players can share the challenge by each controlling one arm. That is the kind of idea that can turn a small indie into a clip machine if the physics are funny, fair and slightly cruel. Turnip Mountain does not need a giant world map or deep lore.

It needs one stubborn vegetable, awkward hands and a mountain that hates confidence.
