Under a Rock trailer showcases creature taming and companions

Under a Rock has a new gameplay trailer, and this one focuses on creature taming, which is exactly the sort of system that turns survival games from screaming resource spreadsheets into emotional pet-management disasters. Publisher Gameforge and developer Nordic Trolls showed how players can tame wild creatures and turn them into companions in the open-world survival adventure.
That matters because survival games are crowded now. Chopping trees, crafting tools and being eaten by wildlife are no longer enough.
A strong companion system can make the world feel more personal, giving players utility, attachment and a reason to care when a giant bird with questionable manners starts circling the camp. Under a Rock already has a colorful prehistoric island identity, and creature taming fits that tone nicely. If the companions are useful without becoming annoying mascots, this could be one of the game’s strongest hooks.
