Wild n Chill is heading to Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch, and the title alone sounds like it knows exactly which audience it wants. Developer Wombat Brawler, known for Cast n Chill, is bringing the new cozy project to Nintendo platforms, though no release window has been announced yet.
The important part is that cozy games continue to branch into more specific moods. It is no longer just farming, decorating and talking to villagers who somehow never pay rent. The genre now covers fishing, collecting, exploring, gentle survival, photography, creature care and basically any activity that lets players decompress without being emotionally tackled by a boss fight.
Switch remains an ideal home for that audience, and Switch 2 gives developers more room for prettier worlds and smoother performance. Wild n Chill could be a nice one to watch.
