The Wolf Among Us Remastered announced as Bigby returns again

The Wolf Among Us Remastered has been announced, and Bigby Wolf is finally getting pulled back under the spotlight. The original 2013 adventure game was one of Telltale’s strongest works, mixing fairy-tale noir, moral pressure and detective grime into something that still has a loyal audience. A remaster makes sense because the sequel has been stuck in development limbo for so long that some fans began treating it like folklore itself.

Bringing the original back on modern platforms, including Nintendo systems, creates a much cleaner runway for The Wolf Among Us 2, which is now also pointed at 2027. The danger is that nostalgia has been asked to wait too long. The opportunity is that players still love this world.

If the remaster lands well, Bigby’s comeback could finally feel real.
