Xbox Series X25 limited edition celebrates 25 years of Xbox

Xbox is celebrating 25 years with the Xbox Series X25 Limited Edition, a translucent OG Green console and matching wireless controller inspired by the original Xbox. This is not a power upgrade; it is a nostalgia laser pointed directly at people who remember the Duke controller, LAN parties and the early-2000s confidence of a giant black-and-green box entering the console war.
The design includes nods to Xbox history, from the classic green to the ABXY colors and controller details referencing the original hardware. Collector hardware like this matters because it turns a platform anniversary into a physical object, not just a logo animation in a trailer.
The timing is smart too. Xbox used the showcase to talk about exclusives and identity again, then backed it up with hardware that screams brand memory. The X25 launches in November 2026.
