Exodus gameplay shows combat in Lidon’s Ghost City

Exodus continues to reveal itself in short bursts, and the latest gameplay snippet focuses on combat in Lidon’s Ghost City. Archetype Entertainment has been steadily teasing the sci-fi RPG before a deeper summer showcase, and this new clip highlights protagonist Jun Aslan, party members and synergy-based action against hostile threats. Exodus remains one of the more intriguing RPG projects in development because Archetype is made up of veteran BioWare talent and is clearly aiming for large-scale sci-fi storytelling with choice, companions and time-dilation consequences. The challenge is that small combat snippets can only show so much. Players still need to see how exploration, dialogue, party management and long-term decisions actually work together. Still, the Lidon’s Ghost City footage suggests the game is trying to deliver more than passive cinematic RPG combat. If party synergy and tactical positioning matter, Exodus could appeal to players who miss ambitious story-heavy sci-fi RPGs but also want modern action feel. The upcoming summer deep dive is now the real test.
