Mineru’s Construct amiibo launches September 17 for Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
Nintendo is marking the third anniversary of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom with a new amiibo announcement. Mineru’s Construct will launch as an amiibo figure on September 17, and it will be compatible with both the original Switch version and the Switch 2 Edition of Tears of the Kingdom. The figure has articulated arms, giving collectors some posing flexibility, and scanning it in-game will provide useful items for Link’s adventure. Players may also receive a special paraglider fabric that partially glows in the dark. For Zelda fans, this is not a major gameplay update, but it is a nice collectible release tied to one of Tears of the Kingdom’s most important late-game characters. It also shows Nintendo continuing to support its amiibo line in 2026, even as Switch 2 pushes the company into a new hardware era. The figure will likely appeal most to collectors and players who still enjoy tapping amiibo for small bonuses during repeat playthroughs.
