One Military Camp is coming to Nintendo Switch 2
One Military Camp is heading to Nintendo Switch 2. Abylight revealed today that the strategy and base-building game is in development for Nintendo’s new hardware, with the full campaign, Sandbox Mode, all PC biomes and full customization options included. The premise is light but structured: an evil maniac has conquered nearly every territory, and the player must rebuild an old military camp, train recruits, manage resources and logistics, hire staff, build defenses and eventually push back. The Switch 2 version is also getting a new control system adapted around mouse controls, which is exactly the kind of feature management games need to feel comfortable on console. One Military Camp is not a massive AAA announcement, but it matters because Switch 2 needs strategy, sim and management games that are not compromised by controller friction. If Abylight can make the interface work well with Joy-Con 2 mouse functionality, this could be a useful proof point for more PC-style management games on the platform.
