Publisher Ysbryd Games and solo developer Panstasz have released AS BELOW SO ABOVE, the most expansive free content update yet for cosmic horror roguelike RPG World of Horror. Launching on PC on October 30, the update expands total game content by approximately twenty percent, with PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch console updates arriving early next year.

The expansion introduces two terrifying Old Gods: IKT-YOSIS, an ancient burrowing leviathan associated with apocalyptic environmental mutations, and a secondary deity tied to ritualistic urban decay. Furthermore, a substantial new narrative arc titled The War for Shiokawa depicts rival occult cults attempting to summon conflicting extradimensional entities into the quiet coastal Japanese town.

Players gain access to three new playable investigators, each possessing distinct stat distributions and perk mechanics. The update also debuts Scenario Mode—curated bite-sized investigative runs—alongside comprehensive enhancements to Steam Workshop modding pipelines, new curses, bizarre injuries, and 1-bit audio tracks.

Arriving perfectly timed for Halloween, As Below So Above reaffirms Panstasz's dedication to his passionate cult following. World of Horror remains a masterclass in Junji Ito-inspired visual horror and retro Macintosh adventure design.
