Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced passes one million wishlists

Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced is already generating major interest. Ubisoft has revealed that the upcoming remake has passed one million wishlists across all platforms, only about a week after its public reveal. The game is due on July 9, 2026.

Ubisoft has positioned it as more than a simple remaster. Combat has been reworked for a more action-oriented feel, tailing missions have reportedly been improved, and the remake will not follow the RPG direction of more recent Assassin’s Creed entries.

The wishlist milestone suggests many players still want that style of Assassin’s Creed: focused, character-driven and adventurous. If Resynced modernizes the right systems while preserving the open-sea fantasy, it could become one of the publisher’s biggest wins of 2026.
