Assetto Corsa Rally update adds 1990s classics and expands dynamic snow

Assetto Corsa Rally has received a new Early Access update, and rally fans get a strong mix of nostalgia and simulation upgrades. The headline additions are two 1990s cars: the Peugeot 306 Maxi Kit Car and the Subaru Impreza S3 Group A, with the latter tied to Colin McRae’s 1993 rally history.
Supernova Games Studios has expanded the dynamic snow system to the Alsace and Wales rallies, meaning familiar routes can now behave differently under harsher weather conditions. The update also adds new event groups for the new cars and mixed-weather events across FWD, RWD and 4WD traction categories.
GamingBolt also notes the studio’s collaboration with M-Sport WRC driver Jon Armstrong, who has contributed to refinement around tyres, aerodynamics and suspension. This is a promising sign that Assetto Corsa Rally is building toward a more serious simulation platform.
