Forza Horizon 6 review embargo set for May 14 ahead of May 19 launch

Forza Horizon 6 is nearly here, and the review timing is now clear. GamingBolt says its review will go live on May 14 at 5 AM PST, giving players a chance to read impressions before Premium Edition owners begin early access on May 15. The full launch follows on May 19 for Xbox Series X/S and PC, with a PS5 version set for later in the year. For players, the review embargo matters because this is not just another racing sequel. Forza Horizon 6 is taking the series to Japan, a setting fans have requested for years. The game promises a large open world, more than 550 real-world cars, tourism-style exploration, a Collection Journal and the usual Horizon Festival progression. Expectations are extremely high because Forza Horizon remains one of Microsoft’s most reliable first-party brands. If the Japan map delivers variety, scale and atmosphere, this could become one of Xbox’s biggest releases of 2026.
