PlayStation Store April charts put MLB The Show 26, EA Sports FC 26, Pragmata and Crimson Desert near the top

Sony has published the PlayStation Store top downloads for April 2026, and the charts show a healthy mix of sports, new releases and long-running blockbusters. In the US and Canada, MLB The Show 26 led the PS5 chart, followed by Pragmata and Crimson Desert. In Europe, EA Sports FC 26 took the top spot, with Crimson Desert, Grand Theft Auto V, Starfield and Pragmata close behind. That split says a lot about regional taste: baseball remains a major PlayStation driver in North America, while football still dominates Europe. Pragmata’s strong placement is also important because it shows Capcom’s new sci-fi IP is cutting through commercially, not just generating online curiosity. Saros, Hades II, MOUSE: P.I. For Hire and Resident Evil Requiem also appear in the PS5 rankings, giving April a strong mix of premium releases. For players, this chart is useful because it shows what people are actually buying, not only what is trending in trailers.
