Indiana Jones and the Great Circle adds mouse and motion controls on Switch 2
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is getting more Switch 2-specific control options than some players expected. MachineGames has confirmed that the Switch 2 version will support motion controls through Joy-Con 2 and the Pro Controller, allowing players to use gyro input for finer aiming and camera adjustments. More surprisingly, the game will also support full mouse controls using the Joy-Con 2, added through a day-one update. Both control options will include customization settings, and the game also supports full controller remapping. For a first-person adventure, this is potentially very useful. Indiana Jones relies on aiming, exploration, object interaction and environmental awareness, and subtle gyro movement can make controller play feel more precise. Joy-Con 2 mouse support is also exactly the kind of Switch 2 feature developers should experiment with, especially for first-person games. The key question is comfort: will players actually want to use mouse mode for long sessions, or will it be a novelty? Either way, MachineGames is clearly treating the Switch 2 version as more than a simple port.
