Nintendo is pushing back against price-hike anxiety by highlighting the strength of Switch 2’s upcoming third-party lineup. Nintendo says the current Switch 2 third-party lineup is the largest it has ever had following a platform launch. That is an important claim because third-party depth has always been one of Nintendo’s biggest hardware questions. The original Switch eventually became a strong home for ports and indies, but it often received compromised versions or late arrivals. Switch 2 has a chance to change that perception if major games arrive closer to other platforms and run well. For players, this matters directly.
