Saros patch brings balancing changes, fixes and new UI color settings

Saros has received a new patch, giving Housemarque’s sci-fi action game its first meaningful post-launch tuning pass. The update focuses on balancing changes, fixes and new UI color settings. The biggest gameplay note appears to be a Power Generator nerf, while the broader patch is aimed more at smoothing the experience than radically changing the structure of the game. That is probably the right approach. Saros launched with strong attention around its bullet-ballet action and familiar Housemarque intensity, so players do not need a completely different game only days later. They need stability, readability and fair tuning. UI color settings are also welcome because visual clarity matters enormously in a fast, particle-heavy action game. For PS5 players already pushing through Carcosa, this patch should make the run smoother without changing the core challenge. The real long-term question is how Housemarque supports Saros after the first wave of balance and bug fixes.
