Silent Hill f passes two million shipments and digital sales

Silent Hill f has passed a major milestone. Konami says total shipments and digital sales have now surpassed two million units worldwide. That is a strong result for a horror game, especially one that moved the series into a new 1960s Japan setting rather than simply returning to familiar Silent Hill geography. The game launched in September 2025 for PS5, Xbox Series and PC and crossed one million units within a day of release, so the latest figure confirms it has continued to sell beyond the initial burst. For Konami, this matters because Silent Hill is once again a live commercial franchise rather than a dormant legacy name. Between remakes, new entries and multimedia projects, the company is clearly rebuilding the brand. For players, Silent Hill f’s success is also encouraging because it shows that horror does not have to rely entirely on nostalgia. A new protagonist, a new cultural setting and a different flavor of psychological dread can still attract a global audience when the tone is strong.
