Star Wars Zero Company still targets 2026 with turn-based Clone Wars tactics

Star Wars Zero Company remains one of the more interesting Star Wars game projects still targeting 2026. Developed by Bit Reactor with Respawn and Lucasfilm Games, the game is a single-player turn-based tactics title set during the Clone Wars. Players command an elite squad led by Hawks, a former Republic officer, in a campaign that appears focused on tactical choices, squad composition and battlefield decision-making rather than pure action spectacle. For gamers, this is exciting because Star Wars has plenty of shooters, action adventures and space fantasies, but fewer modern tactics games that really explore small-unit command. The Clone Wars setting is especially useful because it naturally supports varied soldiers, droids, special missions, moral tension and large-scale conflict. The big missing piece remains a firm release date. The game is still listed for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S in 2026, but players are waiting for a clearer launch window and deeper gameplay demonstrations. If Bit Reactor can deliver meaningful tactical depth, Zero Company could become a standout Star Wars release for strategy fans.
