ZERO Sievert 2 reveals four-player co-op extraction shooter sequel

ZERO Sievert 2 is official, and the sequel is making a major structural change by adding four-player co-op. The original ZERO Sievert built a strong reputation as a tense top-down survival extraction game, selling more than 600,000 copies. The sequel keeps the dangerous post-apocalyptic extraction setup but expands it into a PvE co-op experience where players can enter hostile zones together, collect loot, upgrade gear and survive procedurally generated maps with fixed landmarks. For players, the co-op shift is the headline. Extraction games are often more fun, chaotic and memorable when friends are involved, but co-op also changes balance dramatically. Enemies, resources, risk and progression all need to scale properly. Modern Wolf says the game is planned for Early Access on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, with the initial version including two locations and an intended Early Access period of around eight months. If the sequel preserves the pressure of the first game while making teamwork meaningful, ZERO Sievert 2 could become a strong PC co-op pick.
