Editorial Overview
Every package changes how you drive.
Special Delivery is a top-down courier game about getting fragile things across a toy-sized city in one piece. A cake cracks if you corner hard, a hot tray cools whenever you crawl or stop, and a sealed tank sloshes on its own whatever you do with the wheel, so every package asks for a different way of driving. The dispatch board holds thirty-two jobs in six chapters with fifty-seven deliveries between them, from a single cake across the canal quarter to the mayor's four-stop Grand Rounds. Each job is won or lost on cargo condition, a closing time and how many bumps you took, and earns a bronze, silver or gold medal and tips. Nine conditions change the day: rain, rush hour, parade floats, a quiet street where every honk is a complaint, no route line, a short clock, a cold snap, cobbles and a tram run. Four vehicles, a van, a scooter, a cab and a street sweeper, each trade speed against care, and seven upgrades with three levels each are bought with your tips. Ten clients remember how you left their last parcel, and a Daily Route is the same for everyone on a given date. The free demo gives you the first chapter: six jobs in the canal quarter with the van and the scooter.
