Bandai Namco pushed a free update for Switch/Switch 2 with a maintenance window that temporarily takes Ranked and some online features offline.

What it means for gamers: the practical consequence is you get two choices—update now and keep playing, or don't update and discover the modern horror genre known as “version mismatch.” If you're competitive, it's also a reminder to check balance/meta shifts before you confidently queue into Ranked with yesterday's “totally unstoppable” setup.
