Flying Fire Shark!!!: Toaplan Arcade Garage is finally coming west. Clear River Games will release the M2-developed shoot ’em up collection digitally for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on August 29, with physical pre-orders also available through Clear River Games’ online store. The collection, known in Japan as Hishou Same! Same! Same!, first launched in Japan in 2022 and centers on Toaplan’s Flying Shark and Fire Shark legacy. For arcade shooter fans, this is a strong preservation release. Toaplan’s vertical shooters helped define a key era of arcade design, with readable rules, brutal pressure and weapon systems built for mastery. The western release includes six titles in the package, and Gematsu notes that DLC content for digital owners is included as part of the physical release.
