Order of the Sinking Star is coming to Switch 2

Order of the Sinking Star is officially coming to Nintendo Switch 2. Publisher Arc Games and developer Thekla confirmed today that the narrative puzzle adventure will launch on Switch 2 alongside its PC version in 2026. That is a notable get for Nintendo’s new hardware because the game comes from Jonathan Blow, best known for Braid and The Witness. The pitch is ambitious: more than one thousand hand-crafted puzzles, four distinct worlds, exploration, storytelling and mechanics that evolve as the adventure unfolds. Blow says Switch 2’s portability is a strong fit because players can either dip into puzzles briefly or sit with them for longer sessions. That is true. Puzzle games often benefit from portable play because stepping away from a problem and returning later can be part of the process.
