Perfect Tides: Station to Station arrives on Nintendo Switch

Perfect Tides: Station to Station arrives on Nintendo Switch today, giving handheld players access to one of 2026’s most warmly received narrative adventure games. Written and directed by Meredith Gran, the game follows Mara Whitefish as she moves from island adolescence into the strange emotional mess of early adulthood, the internet, relationships and self-discovery. It is a point-and-click adventure, but the appeal is less about puzzle-box difficulty and more about writing, specificity and the painful comedy of being young in the early 2000s. The Switch port is a natural fit because narrative adventures often work beautifully in portable sessions. You can sit with scenes, explore dialogue and let the writing breathe without needing reflexes or a giant screen. The first Perfect Tides built a small but devoted following through its semi-autobiographical tone and sharp character observation. Station to Station appears to deepen that formula. For Switch players who like literary adventure games, this is one of the week’s quieter but strongest releases.
