Sony quietly pushed PS5 system software update 26.03-13.20.00 on April 23, and this is not one of those updates that turns your console into a different machine overnight. The patch is aimed at minor messaging and usability refinements rather than a dramatic new system feature.

The most visible addition is a broader set of emojis for message reactions, which is exactly the kind of tiny platform change companies love because it sounds silly right up until your group chat starts using it constantly. Outside that, the update sounds like Sony tightening small rough edges instead of chasing a flashy headline.
