The Sims 4 hotfix: weddings stop freezing (so now you can ruin the marriage organically)

A Sims 4 hotfix targeted a nasty freeze during marriage events and continued family tree fixes.

What it means for gamers: weddings being unplayable is "funny" exactly once—after that it's just rage. This fix means your save is less likely to get held hostage by a cake-cutting animation.

The only remaining threat is you, the player, immediately using the regained stability to start chaos: stealing spouses, trapping guests, and turning the reception into a pool-ladder incident.
