007: First Light campaign reportedly runs around twenty hours

007: First Light is reportedly aiming for a campaign length of around 20 hours. Nintendo Life, citing Insider Gaming and developer comments shared through YouTube coverage, reports that IO Interactive’s Bond origin story will not be a tiny cinematic experience. The game is due on PS5, Xbox Series and PC on May 27, with the Switch 2 version coming later in the summer. For players, the reported length is interesting because IO Interactive’s best work often encourages replay, experimentation and alternate solutions rather than just a single linear path. If First Light offers roughly 20 hours on a first run and also supports replayable mission design, it could have a much longer tail than a standard licensed action game. The big question remains structure. If IO leans into stealth, gadgets, disguises, social infiltration and improvisation, this could be the modern Bond game fans have wanted for years. If it becomes a straightforward shooter, the number of hours will matter much less.
