Serial World limited-time demo joins Steam Deckbuilders Fest

Serial World has joined Steam Deckbuilders Fest with a limited-time demo, available on PC via Steam until May 11. Developed by Serial Project and published by YSHIBO, the game mixes creature collecting, deckbuilding and RPG progression into a colorful adventure built around strange companions called Anima. For players, the demo is valuable because deckbuilders live or die by feel: card flow, upgrade rhythm, encounter design and whether the creature mechanics add something meaningful beyond simple stat boosts. The Steam event timing should help Serial World find the right audience, because deckbuilding fans are already browsing for new experiments during the festival. The broader hook is that Serial World appears to sit between cozy creature-collecting and tactical card combat, which could make it approachable without becoming too simple. If the demo shows enough strategic variety and personality, it may earn wishlists ahead of the full release. In a crowded indie market, a well-timed demo can matter almost as much as a trailer.
