Saturday AM: Battle Manga trailer spotlights Nilay, Daedalus and Vyper

Saturday AM: Battle Manga has a new character-focused trailer, this time showcasing Nilay, Daedalus and Vyper from The Massively Multiplayer World of Ghosts. The upcoming 2v2 tag fighting game is being developed by Son Studios for PC via Steam, with no release date announced yet. The pitch is immediately interesting because Saturday AM represents a broader manga-inspired publishing universe rather than a single traditional fighting-game IP. That gives the roster room to draw from different comic worlds and character styles, which is useful for a tag fighter where visual contrast and team identity matter. For fighting-game fans, the real questions remain mechanical: how assists work, whether movement feels fast and readable, how the tag system creates pressure, and whether the netcode can support serious online play. Still, the new trailer is a good reminder that indie fighting games continue to grow beyond retro pixel homages and anime arena projects. If Saturday AM can deliver strong systems and a memorable roster, it could become a cult PC fighter.
