Trails from Zero and Trails to Azure are coming to PS5 and Switch 2 this fall

The Crossbell arc is getting another platform push. NIS America has announced that The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero and The Legend of Heroes: Trails to Azure are coming to PS5 and Nintendo Switch 2 this fall. The games will be available separately as digital releases and together physically as The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero & Trails to Azure: Crossbell Collection. These versions will support 4K, up to 120 frames per second and mouse controls, depending on platform and setup. For JRPG fans, this is useful because the Crossbell games are among the most important chapters in the larger Trails timeline, connecting the Liberl and Erebonia arcs while focusing on Lloyd Bannings and the Special Support Section. The new versions should make it easier for latecomers to catch up before moving deeper into the series. For Switch 2 owners in particular, this is another sign that Falcom and NIS America see Nintendo’s new hardware as a strong JRPG platform.
