Dungeon Sweeper Plus announced as fantasy Minesweeper for PC

Dungeon Sweeper Plus is taking Minesweeper on a fantasy holiday. PLAYISM and developer Setamo have announced the PC puzzle game for 2026, describing it as a fantasy globetrotting Minesweeper-like experience. The idea is immediately understandable: open tiles, use numbered grave markers to identify nearby dungeons, avoid danger and slowly expand an empty world into a colorful fantasy map. What makes the Steam version interesting is that it builds on a free itch.io release from 2023 with more biomes, new flags, coins and a more polished structure. This is the sort of small puzzle game that can become surprisingly addictive if the feedback loop is clean. Minesweeper already works because it makes logic feel tense without needing speed. Adding villages, deserts, volcanoes, dragons and collectible flags gives the formula more personality without breaking its core. For players who like cozy puzzle games, travel-map progression or low-pressure logic, Dungeon Sweeper Plus could become a neat coffee-break title. It is not trying to be huge, and that may be its strength.
