Ghost of Yōtei: Legends has received its final major update

Ghost of Yōtei: Legends is officially winding down as an active content platform. Sucker Punch has confirmed that last month’s Raid update was the final major planned update for the free co-op multiplayer mode. The mode will remain playable, and there are no plans to shut support down entirely, but players should not expect another major content arc. That is a mixed ending. On one hand, Legends now feels like a completed side story, finishing the supernatural version of the Yōtei Six and giving players a proper endgame raid. On the other hand, fans who expected a longer support cycle may feel disappointed, especially because Ghost of Tsushima: Legends grew into such a beloved multiplayer extension over time. The key practical point is that the player base is likely strongest now, while the raid and recent updates are still fresh. If you want to experience the mode with active matchmaking and community discussion, this is probably the best window. Sucker Punch appears to be closing the book on major Legends content, not erasing the book from the shelf.
