Tomodachi Life returns to number one in the UK as Indiana Jones gets a Switch 2 bump

The latest UK software chart has Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream back at number one, while Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has made a dramatic return thanks to its Nintendo Switch 2 version. Indiana Jones was previously outside the top 40 entirely, but the new Switch 2 release pushed it straight to second place. Directive 8020 also opened strongly in third, followed by Resident Evil Requiem and Mortal Kombat 1. This is a useful chart because it shows how quickly a new platform version can revive an older title. Indiana Jones had already been available elsewhere, but Switch 2 gave it a new commercial moment and a fresh audience. Tomodachi Life’s continued strength is also notable because it is now competing against bigger cinematic releases, horror games and evergreen franchises while still staying on top. The rest of the top ten includes Pokémon Pokopia, Mario Kart World, EA Sports FC 26, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Pokémon Legends: Z-A. For Nintendo, the UK chart is basically a victory lap: first place, second-place momentum through Switch 2, and multiple first-party titles inside the top ten.
